ARGE Baurecht - Working Group on Construction Law

Digital

Website and newsletter updated

Task:

  • To revise and modernize the online communication of ARGE Baurecht (website and newsletter)

ARGE Baurecht is the largest professional association of lawyers specializing in construction law in Germany and Europe. The aim is for ARGE Baurecht to play a much more instrumental role in shaping public opinion and to present ARGE Baurecht as an important expert.

Realisation:

The website, www.arge-baurecht.com, is the digital mainstay of efforts to reposition the professional association. The agency is responsible for concept, layout, programming and day-to-day support.

For the new website, which now adjusts smoothly to all screen formats, the agency reworked, added on and entirely restructured the existing content. The design has been reduced and taken back a step in order to leave more space for challenging content and thematic images. With inspiration from the timeline function of social media, current content “streams” onto the site via the home page and invites users to explore the site in more depth. The clear navigation structure now lets investors, public contractors, construction companies, architects, engineers, private building clients and other interest groups find their way directly to the content that interests them. The special services offered by ARGE Baurecht, such as their lawyer and arbitrator search, have been optimized and now complete the offerings on the website.

In addition to updating the website, the agency also regenerated the ARGE Baurecht PDF circular. During this process, the instrument was transformed into a modern newsletter, which – like the communication as a whole – relates more closely to current activities and events. For the technical implementation the agency used its own newsletter tool. The web-based system is fully responsive and adjusts smoothly to all end devices.

Theme Development

A voice for the experts

Task:

  • Positioning the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Bau- und Immobilienrecht (ARGE Baurecht) in its core target groups

Realisation:

DIE PR-BERATER strategically redesigned ARGE Baurecht’s entire communication around a core message that specialized legal representation is essential in the construction sector (“Bau braucht Fachanwalt”). The main channel for implementing the project is press and media relations work with its target groups of investors, public contractors, construction companies, architects, engineers and also private building clients.

The agency developed a very specific and interconnected communications mix of press information, expert tips and judgement discussions, plus thematic reports and opinions. Initially, the agency picks up on relevant issues and topics, which it develops and prepares for the intended audience. Then it selects suitable instruments to deliver them. The agency uses the expertise of the ARGE Baurecht members in this process to cut through highly complex specialist legal content and translate it into an understandable and useful form for the target groups.

Media Cooperation

A helping hand for building clients

Task:

  • To initiate and implement media cooperation with a wide-reach special interest medium on the theme of building and construction

Realisation:

As part of the press and public relations work for Arbeitsgemeinschaft Bau- und Immobilienrecht (ARGE Baurecht) im Deutschen Anwaltverein, DIE PR-BERATER organized a media cooperation with bauen! magazine. The popular magazine is published by Fachzeitschriften Verlag aiming for a target audience of private building clients in search of inspiration and information on planning and realizing their own building projects.

As part of the editorial cooperation the agency worked with selected members of ARGE Baurecht on an in-depth article for each issue on aspects of building law, such as building approval, building specifications or construction defects. Each article contains specific links to the www.arge-baurecht.com website and helps to raise awareness of ARGE Baurecht very precisely within an important target group. The magazine is published six times a year and each issue has around 162,500 readers nationwide.
