About three million inhabitants of Turkish origin live in Germany. They form the biggest group of people with foreign background. The German Turks can choose from a huge variety of Turkish-language media, whether print, TV, radio or online media. They do not only provide news from Turkey but also cover local stories from Germany. Nearly all major media companies have established their European headquarters in Germany by now.
